ITEXPO Miami: prairieFrye Showcases New Contact Center Powered by Microsoft Lync

While the unified communications (UC) space is ever changing, with new developments being created to advance product and work efficiency, companies have also been fusing together to make it easier for the larger sphere of UC solutions to work together.

prairieFrye, a provider of contact center software solutions made its latest move in this regard by linking up with its longtime partner, Microsoft (News - Alert) to create an array of products like Gold Communications, Gold Independent Software Vendor (ISV) and Silver Business Intelligence. Its most recent innovation, prairieFrye’s Contact Center for Microsoft Lync, which will be showcased at ITEXPO (News - Alert) Miami 2013 this week.

Microsoft Lync is a UC platform that allows users to see their contact’s availability, send instant messages, start or join audio, video or web conferences, make phone calls and can even connect with Skype (News - Alert). This end-to-end Lync-based solution opens up new levels of integration and UC platforms to increase the efficiency and quality for both consumers and businesses.

prairieFrye’s Contact Center solution has been recognized by the company as being Lync Qualified and certified as Windows 8 Compatible. With version 5.10.2 of the Contact Center for Microsoft Lync portfolio, there is also support for the upcoming launch of Microsoft Lync Server and Lync Client 2013. This means prairieFrye customers can have a core contact center business that is supported by the latest Microsoft applications.
