Blue Star Infotech Joins with QlikTech

July 26, 2011

Blue Star Infotech Ltd (BSIL), a global provider of software solutions, has partnered with QlikTech, a provider of user driven business intelligence (BI) software.

As part of the pact, BSIL will deliver solutions based on QlikTech’s business discovery platform QlikView .

Thanks to this partnership, QlikTech will now gain access to BSIL’s BI implementation experience and presence in the domestic market, especially in the manufacturing and media and entertainment verticals whereas BSIL will be able to offer customers tailored collaborative, analytical reporting solutions enabling them to take better informed decisions.“We are delighted to partner with Blue Star Infotech and are confident that its vast reach and experience in implementing BI solutions will help us grow in the Indian enterprise market space, which has a huge potential for collaborative BI solutions with simple and straightforward user interfaces,” said said Ramendra Mandal, country manager, Qliktech India Pvt. Ltd, in a statement.

Mandal said that BSIL customers will now be able to effectively unlock their enterprise data value and respond better and faster in an increasingly competitive marketplace. He said that QlikView’s patented in-memory technology, for the first time, brings social and collaborative capabilities to BI solutions that not only empower enterprise users but also provide a better operational control.

“Our solution can seamlessly integrate with the mobile platform as well, which is a rapidly growing opportunity,” said Mandal.

Sunil Bhatia, CEO & MD, Blue Star Infotech Ltd said that the rapid growth in the Indian enterprise market is resulting in huge amounts of transactional data being generated. Enterprises need accurate and timely information insights that enable faster, and more informed business decisions.

Bhatia said that however, traditional BI solutions require higher investments and have an extended learning and deployment curve making them unappealing to enterprises.
