ExpertALERT 3.40 - Machinery Condition Assessment Software unveiled by Azima DLI

April 06, 2010

The leader and premier provider of predictive machine condition monitoring and analysis servicers, Azima DLI, announced an important upgrade to ExpertALERT 3.40, its advanced machinery condition assessment software. Using the Azima DLI WATCHMAN Reliability Portal, manufacturers will have the ability to improve plant performance by better prioritizing machine repairs and at the same time remain focused on reliability and uptime priorities. These priorities are based on the ability to rapidly collect and process data, and access accurate results through the portal.

Plant managers are provided with actionable, easy-to-understand fault diagnosis, fault severity and repair priority data for each machine they measure with the help of Azima DLI's automated solution. Manufacturers with significant workforce and budget restrictions find ExpertALERT as an ideal solution as it provides timely information crucial to not only identify critical machinery faults before they occur but also to avoid unnecessary maintenance.

A wide array of productivity and performance features is included in ExpertALERT 3.40. Data collection is fifty percent faster for DCX and DCA-60 data collectors with the data collection time reduced from 37 seconds to 19 seconds. User-defined points may now be defined at the plant or area level of the database hierarchy. UDPs allow external files of any type to be embedded in the ALERT database and referenced from the application software. The accuracy of the Bearing Fault Frequencies has been improved with the new Bearing Database Update Tool. ExpertALERT 3.40 has support for Window 7 Operating System. There is an option for 'Quick Review' in the Expert menu for results that have not been reviewed and can be automatically screened based on severity level. ExpertALERT has new support for Single-Axis (News - Alert) Sensors. The software also has the ability to override sensitivity settings for triaxial accelerometers.

According to Jonathan Hakim, President, Azima DLI, the company's services and solutions are aimed at plants that recognize the direct correlation between ROI and performance. He added that the urgency to cut operational costs has left many manufacturing companies with significant challenges in maintaining the performance of their condition monitoring program. Companies are provided with critical machinery health information by the ExpertALERT solution. This ensures optimal machinery performance and uptime while boosting employee productivity.
