Hobsons Introduces Mobile Version of its CRM Tool
Hobsons has launched the mobile version of its successful education-focused CRM tool.
The Enrollment Management Technology software provider has introduced EMT Mobile, a solution that enables admissions and enrollment professionals to use their Internet-enabled wireless phones to access Hobsons' Web-based CRM site on the go.
With this new ability, users can do a number of things such as adding, editing, or searching for contacts directly from a mobile device. Activities such as accessing contact records or an entire communication plan will become quite easy now.
EMT Mobile features real-time reporting capabilities that offer complete access to aggregate admissions, enrollment, and retention key performance indicators. Hobsons claims that all these capabilities will eventually improve efficiency, reduce response time, and provide enrollment management with critical student information.
Scott Rhodes, executive director of University Admissions and Marketing for Concordia University Irvine noted the problem associated with sending timely follow-up communication when traveling admissions staff collects contact data from prospects.
On-the-go admission counselor can leverage Hobsons' new mobile functionality to enter contact data directly into its CRM system through their mobile device. Rhodes added that by doing so, the students will have follow-up communications in their inbox before they get home.
EMT Mobile's interface has been designed with usability in mind and it requires minimal support. The solution offers real-time access to the CRM system from any type of Internet-enabled smartphone.
'According to the National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC) State of College Admission in 2009, 98 percent of institutions still consider travel for recruitment and field events an essential part of their admissions budget,' said Sasha Peterson, president, Hobsons EMT. 'EMT Mobile makes contact management accessible anywhere, at anytime -- whether you are 100 or 1,000 miles away from campus. We designed this extended functionality to help colleges and universities better serve their constituencies.'
