TMC Recognizes CSG Workforce Express as Product of the Year

CSG Systems (News - Alert) International, Inc., a provider of customer interaction management and billing solutions, has announced that CSG Workforce Express has received a 2009 Cable.TMCnet.com Product of the Year Award from Technology Marketing Corporation (TMC (News - Alert)).

The Workforce Express offered by CSG has a reputation of being the most widely used workforce management solution in the cable industry. The solution has helped more than 33,000 technicians to be more efficient when servicing customers in their homes and businesses.

By addressing one of the most costly and complex aspects of the service provider’s business – getting the right technician, to the right location and at the right time – the Workforce Express ensures that the complex set of information, communication and entertainment services delivered to customers is delivered correctly and efficiently each and every time.

This solution is also designed to leverage GPS technology to map technician vehicle location, as well as provide a summary of job and work order information. Workforce Express provides dispatchers with crucial field operations management tools and allows service technicians to provide optimal service to customers overall.

In other CSG news, the company announced an extension to a relationship with Mediacom, slated to last through 2014. Mediacom, as per the extended pact, will continue to use CSG’s Advanced Convergent Platform over the next six years to provide critical customer care and billing services to all of its customers and support Mediacom’s voice services subscribers.

In February 2009, the company launched its Customer Interaction Solutions Suite, designed to help retailers connect with their customers. This multi-channel communications combines interactive voice, SMS/text, e-mail and print communications to allow retailers to communicate with individual customers about special offers, discounts and other incentives on a personal level.
