Parker Software's WhosOn Integrated with CRM Platforms

January 08, 2010
U.K.-based software provider Parker Software has announced the integration of WhosOn with Customer Relationship Management platforms -- Salesforce.com and Microsoft Dynamics.

WhosOn is a solution that tracks, engages, and reports on visitors to a Web site in real-time via live chat and web analytics. Now, both the CRM are fully integrated with WhosOn.

Initially, developed to meet an internal need, Parker said that it soon realized – through customer feedback -- that there was a need to integrate WhosOn with CRM applications.

“Our agility as a company to respond to our customers needs quickly gives us an advantage over the competition,” said Ian Rowley, business development manager at Parker Software.

He added that the integration with both Salesforce.com (News - Alert) and Microsoft Dynamics offers huge time savings for the company’s customers using CRM platforms to collect data about their customers.

The web site visitor details can be sent directly to either Salesforce.com or Microsoft (News - Alert) Dynamics via the WhosOn interface. Company officials said this tool can help to focus prospecting on the visitors who have already shown an interest in a company.

Additional features for both the platforms are: click to call back requests can be sent directly to the application; live chat transcripts can be added to the history of a prospect, lead or customer. And, specific to Microsoft Dynamics, a user can view the full CRM record directly within the WhosOn Client for visitors who already have a CRM ID, said company officials.

Last year in October, Parker Software said that its latest version of WhosOn is in great demand from the travel industry. Also in August 2009, the company announced development its own software package to work alongside Autotask service management software.
