Compass Intelligence Recognizes AT&T for Customer Service Excellence

AT&T has once again been recognized by Compass (News - Alert) Intelligence as a leader in online customer experience for small and midsize business customers.
Compass Intelligence, a consulting and market analytics company, honored AT&T (News - Alert) for the second year for its Onward Small Biz Web site. According to the study, the AT&T Onward Small Biz site stands out from the competition as the top resource among telecommunications providers and the No. 2 overall for small businesses online.
The firm, which provides market intelligence, forecasts, competitive analysis, market data, insights, and announcement analysis for multiple markets, applauded AT&T’s efforts to give users the ability to browse content on the Onward Small Biz site by using interactive tabs on the main AT&T home page. People who want to learn more about small business resources can move easily from the AT&T small business home page to the site.
The site was redesigned last year, TMC (News - Alert) reported. It offers free resources, including small business advice, online courses, podcasts, online seminars, news and insights into the key departments such as technology, marketing, finance and HR.
The company also highlighted the Onward Small Biz "Watercooler" section, which AT&T recently enhanced to build the site's online community resource element. Watercooler visitors register for scheduled discussions and communicate in real-time with experts and other small business owners to learn about trends and best practices. AT&T also added podcasts from business experts to add to users’ experiences.

"The 'Need to Know' series of informative content and the ongoing addition of compelling multimedia has helped to further open the line of dialogue between AT&T and small businesses."
Last year, AT&T topped the list among telecom companies, and was No. 3 overall, the company said.

Last year, AT&T was recognized by research firm IDC (News - Alert) for its efforts to provide high levels of service to small businesses.
