StayinFront Gets a Vote of Confidence with Customer Upgrade

By David Sims, TMCnet Contributing Editor

StayinFront, a vendor of enterprise-wide customer relationship management applications, has announced that Access International Advisors, managers of hedged and structured investment portfolios, has chosen to upgrade to the latest version of StayinFront CRM.

Explaining the decision to upgrade Tancrede Queval, Chief Administrative Officer, AIA, said “the functionality and configurability” of StayinFront CRM “has kept pace” with the company’s needs over the past seven years.

The latest version of StayinFront CRM is described by company officials as having a configurable, layered architecture, coupled with Microsoft (News - Alert) .NET framework that allows a business model to be created once and deployed across multiple platforms in the enterprise.  The product “combines CRM and analytics into one system” for rendering business intelligence data accessible.

StayinFront CRM 11 uses Microsoft’s Smart Client technology, “providing the benefits of a Web application” while maintaining the appearance of a desktop application, company officials say.

The product “traverses all platforms across the enterprise – including Tablet PCs, mobile devices, LANs and WANs,” said Nigel Huxtable, vice president, Sales EMEA of StayinFront.

In September TMC reported that StayinFront, unveiled of the newest version of its flagship product, StayinFront CRM 11, smacked a bottle of champagne against the bow and sent her off.

The product was described at the time as building on the capabilities of CRM 10, used by customers in the manufacturing, pharmaceutical, healthcare, consumer goods and financial services industries, according to company officials.

StayinFront CRM 11 "combines CRM and analytics into one tool" making business intelligence data accessible "without the high cost of configuration usually associated with business intelligence projects," company officials said at the launch.

A .NET (News - Alert) application, StayinFront CRM 11 uses smart client technology to "provide the benefits of a Web application while maintaining the look and feel of a desktop application," company officials say. The product can be deployed across a WAN or the Internet using the 'ClickOnce' deployment, a Microsoft technology.
