CTC Enhances Business with Deltek's CRM Solution

September 01, 2010

Deltek, Inc., a provider of enterprise applications software and solutions for project-focused businesses, announced that Concurrent Technologies Corporation (CTC) has selected their Costpoint CRM and their Document Management solution as part of a company-wide process improvement initiative.

CTC was looking for a solution that would prove to be efficient and effective for their business management activities. After careful consideration, they decided to go with Costpoint’s CRM, as it incorporated both functionality and a significantly lower total lifetime cost of ownership as opposed to a previous CRM system.

Deltek Costpoint’s CRM solution is comprehensive business development and capture software that was developed exclusively for government contractors. The software is capable of providing a full range of lead management, proposal automation, and opportunity management services that enables government contractors to make fast and concise bid decisions.

The CRM solution is integrated with a web-based Document Management tool which can provide access to updated information from either the office, a road or at a customer location. This accessibility can be vital in improving collaboration, version control, and access to Costpoint CRM.

Edward J. Sheehan, Jr., CTC's president and CEO, said that they decided to go with Costpoint CRM as it aligned well with CTC's commitment to continuously improve business processes throughout the  company. He added that Costpoint CRM could prove helpful in integrating business development systems with the remainder of their Deltek accounting systems, which can positively impact their ability to serve clients while driving future growth.

George Appley, senior vice president and chief information officer, is confident that CTC will effectively utilize the solution to support critical business processes including business development pipeline management, contract and subcontract data management, and knowledge management to standardize on successful best practices. He explained that Costpoint CRM can easily integrate into CTC's overall corporate IT infrastructure.

Carolyn Parent, executive vice president and general manager, GovCon for Deltek, stated that the Costpoint CRM was an ideal solution for CTC as it was capable of supporting CTC's critical business development processes.
