ASI Improves CRM with SyncSite Implementation of Sage SalesLogix
January 05, 2010
SyncSite has completed another successful implementation of Sage SalesLogix. The benefactor of this implementation is American Strategic Insurance, or “ASI,” which provides homeowner and commercial insurance to customers in six states.
Before this new implementation was complete, ASI’s marketing representatives maintained all contact and opportunity details locally in spreadsheets. All weekly notes were submitted through e-mail.
This system offered limitations to information sharing, while also created inconsistencies when data was collected. At the same time, if a representative left the company, it was too easy for information to leave with them.
ASI wanted to make their marketing operations much more efficient and protect this valuable information. To achieve this end, the company sought to implement a robust Customer Relationship Management, or “CRM,” solution. After considering a number of options, ASI selected Sage SalesLogix and SyncSite.

ASI wanted to make their marketing operations much more efficient and protect this valuable information. To achieve this end, the company sought to implement a robust Customer Relationship Management, or “CRM,” solution. After considering a number of options, ASI selected Sage SalesLogix and SyncSite.
“I had used Sage SalesLogix in a prior position,” Deepak Menon, ASI’s director of marketing, said in a statement. “I understood its features and inherent customization capabilities. In working with SyncSite, I recognize them to be responsive, skilled, and capable.”
With the Sage SalesLogix now in place, every customer interaction is recorded in the application. This provides ASI with a comprehensive, secure, accessible and invaluable source of corporate information. With powerful reporting tools, ASI’s management team can now monitor and measure the productivity of each representative to increase accountability and output of the entire team.

Working with SyncSite, ASI also implemented a Business Intelligence, or “BI,” software solution. “Our BI application acts as a bridge between pieces of information that might not otherwise come together,” Menon said.
“It’s a strategic tool we can use to meet our goals by identifying the areas where we excel and conversely by highlighting areas where we need to apply more resources. SyncSite is a great partner that helps us get the most from our technology investment,” Menon added.
The implementation of the Sage SalesLogix is a powerful value proposition for SyncSite as it delivers considerable efficiency to the end client. As companies use the application to manage sales, customer service and technical support departments, costs are contained and profitability is a closer reach.
Last month, Sage honored business partners for their approach to sales efforts. Sage Business Partner Awards recognize top performing partners across Sage’s partner community in Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands.
