Minsheng Deploys Yucheng Technologies' Stand-Alone Credit Card Call Center
Minsheng is based on Beijing, China. It’s the first national joint-stock commercial bank primarily held by non-public-owned enterprises. Minsheng has a network of over 25 branches covering major cities in China.
The bank’s credit card call center is expected to utilize Yucheng’s software to decrease wait-time while increasing risk controls.
With the system, operators can access complete information across multiple accounts to assist with caller identification and information collection, according to company officials.
The data is input into customer information and data analysis systems. Officials said that the systems can identify fraudulent credit card applications and improper account access.
In addition to enabling cardholders to review multiple accounts seamlessly, the new system also streamlines many business practices.
Initially, in the first phase, Yucheng is expected to expand Minsheng's call center seats to 600, which according to officials is three times the current capacity. Later in the second phase, the scalability and responsiveness of the software is expected to further increase Minsheng's call center capabilities in the competitive credit card market.
The deployment of Yucheng's technology will help lower Minsheng's credit card risk exposure, said officials. Channel Solutions enable banks to better communicate with customers.

He said that company plans to further develop its relationship with Minsheng and the presence in this market.
