Syntellect Expands Presence with Envox Group AB Purchase

Syntellect has recently purchase the business and assets of Envox (News - Alert) Group AB for $14 million, giving the company a better handle in enterprise-class contact center solutions.

 
A subsidiary of Enghouse Systems Ltd., the Phoenix-based Syntellect (News - Alert) will bring in more than $16 million in Envox’s annual revenue in hopes to maneuver their standing in the contact center business.
 
“Envox’s global reach, distribution channels, market focus and technology portfolio are a perfect complement to Syntellect’s core business,” said Syntellect President Steve Dodenhoff (News - Alert) in a statement. “The combined organization, capabilities and product portfolio will be able to address the full spectrum of market opportunities in the contact center space. We are excited about this acquisition as it will accelerate our next generation customer interaction management initiatives.”
 
Company officials say the combined experience and portfolios will enable Syntellect to broaden its customer base and offerings.
 
“We are very pleased with the acquisition of Envox”, stated Stephen Sadler, chairman & CEO of Enghouse. “The acquisition of a well-known industry leader like Envox will allow us to continue our global presence and expand to new territories in APAC and Europe.”
