MarkeTel Partners with Call Compliance On Canada's DNC Law

More than 3.3 million Canadian telephone, cellular and fax numbers have been registered on Canada’s do not call list (DNC) since it went live on September 30, reports the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission.

 
Customers of MarkeTel Systems’ predictive dialers need not worry about compliance with the DNC thanks to a partnership between the firm, which is based in Canada, and Call Compliance (News - Alert).
 
MarkeTel now offers Call Compliance’s TeleBlock service for the Canadian DNC list. Its dialers have long been integrated with TeleBlock to enable ready compliance with Federal and state U.S. DNC lists.
 
TeleBlock works by automatically checking the DNC list, and then blocking any appropriate calls from going out. This solution takes the responsibility out of the contact centers agents’ hands, delivering complete peace-of-mind to customers.
 
If the reaction of MarkeTel’s American customers is any indication, the Canadian program will be a success. Jodie Smith, inside sales manager for Pure Water Consultants cites the solution’s skiplist feature that makes screen against the DNC easy. Mark Williams, owner of Health for Life wrote: “Your success has added to ours over the years. More important, you have made the transition to the ‘Do Not Call’ compliance a painless one.”
