Altitude Software Launches vBox 4.0 SIP server

Interest in VoIP and SIP is skyrocketing as this technology enables firms to cut communications and installation (including reconfiguration) costs. Enterprise voice is typically delivered through a PBX or an IP-PBX. However, the voice area is evolving rapidly, with a wide range of software-based solutions entering the market.
 
Altitude vBox 4.0 installations can start with just a few seats and grow to meet any organization's specific needs, enhancing features and functionalities along the way. IP-enabled agents can get started using Altitude Unified Desktop, an out-of-the-box multimedia agent desktop that includes an integrated SIP softphone. They also have the ability to integrate any custom desktop application or a third party CRM application to provide data capabilities and multimedia interaction handling.
