CWR Mobility Releases 4.2 of Mobile CRM

From the off-the-beaten-track business locale of Nijmegen, The Netherlands, comes the news that CWR Mobility has released
version 4.2 of its flagship product CWR Mobile CRM.
The product’s a mobile tool for Dynamics CRM, with a client roster including Danone, Nestle, Hitachi (News
) and Sanofi Pasteur, according to company officials.
What’s new in 4.2, you ask? Among other improvements, a native mobile CRM client for BlackBerry (News
) and iPhone, evidently since the company realized everybody except Melinda Gates has one
. CWR Mobile CRM 4.2 is available via a global network of certified partners, and online in the United States and Canada.
There’s also improved security, a software development kit, power management and remote application management.
“We want to give our customers the freedom of choice, so we built mobile CRM clients for BlackBerry and iPhone (News
) as well as an Express version which supports mobile Web browsers,” Erik van Hoof, CEO of CWR Mobility, said. “All clients have full Dynamics CRM capabilities while having the look and feel of the device it runs on. Our new Express version also runs on Android, Palm Pre and any other Internet enabled Smartphone.”

) Gold Certified Partner, BlackBerry Alliance Member and member of the iPhone Enterprise Developer Program. The CWR Mobile CRM clients are available on the Apple (News
) App Store, BlackBerry App World and Windows Mobile Marketplace.
“We have built CWR Mobile CRM on the same pillars as Microsoft CRM: it fits your people, fits your business and fits your environment,” van Hoof said.
In December CWR Mobility officials reported that “Santa Claus has chosen
Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0 and CWR Mobile CRM 4.2 to support his global operation in this year’s Christmas season.”
Evidently an ever growing number of children worldwide and some strong local competition (such as Sinterklaas from the Netherlands) were some of the reasons Santa went shopping for some innovation.
“I thought my new V8 sleight was a good step forward, but this new mobile technology is really amazing,” said Santa Claus, according to CWR officials. “We don’t have to spend hours on the phone or fly back and forth anymore to inform the elves about the gifts we need. We simply enter the wish lists in the mobile phone and they see it instantly on their little Elfbooks.
