Lakozy Toyota Automates Business Processes with Colosa's ProcessMaker

Lakozy Toyota has reportedly implemented ProcessMaker, an Open Source business process management software from Colosa. ProcessMaker will add visibility and control to the core management and administrative processes at Lakozy Toyota.
ProcessMaker is the first Open Source BPM and workflow software designed for small and mid-sized businesses and organizations. It lets business users and process experts with no programming experience design and run workflows, increase transparency and reduce paperwork. ProcessMaker uses tools to create forms and documents, assign roles, create rules and map individual processes with ease and speed. Since the software is entirely web-based, coordinating workflow across offices is quite simple. ProcessMaker connects with existing IT infrastructure such as DMS, ERP, CRM and BI systems and databases.
Prior to the implementation of ProcessMaker, processes at Lakozy Toyota were paper-based and involved person-to-person follow ups and requests. As the underlying operational and administrative processes expanded and became more complex, this method became time-consuming.
According to Amar Pawar, chief operating officer for Lakozy Toyota, the company required a solution that was easy-to use, painless to implement, and would automate everyday processes, increase transparency and reduce reliance on paper-based trails and processes. Bista Solutions, a Colosa gold partner recommended ProcessMaker as a workflow and BPM solution that would address Lakozy Toyota’s current as well as future needs. Bista Solutions then demonstrated ProcessMaker to Lakozy Toyota's management team.
Lakozy Toyota has automated a number of key departments and processes with ProcessMaker. These include HR, admin, sales and accounts. It is also possible to use ProcessMaker to send SMS notifications to sales and service managers for urgent processes that require approval. Since these will be flagged and addresses immediately, Lakozy Toyota can ensure that sales and customer requests will be handled as they arise.
Lakozy Toyota is planning to expand modeling and automation with ProcessMaker to include all core processes.
Sanjay Mishra, assistant general manager of Lakozy Toyota, said even though business was strong and growing, the company needed a solution that could capture existing processes and also provide it with a strong foundation for growth. Mishra said that Bista Solutions and ProcessMaker have together changed Lakozy Toyota’s fundamental business structure and put it in a position where its will not limit its growth.
