OnePhone Deutschland Selects Comarch's BSS and OSS Suite

OnePhone Deutschland reportedly has selected Comarch's BSS and OSS Suite.
The two companies signed contract earlier this year and, under the terms of the agreement, Comarch (News - Alert) has provided client with their BSS/OSS platform. This solution will be used to support billing and CRM processes in the femto-cell GSM telephony concept.
The implementation of the project has begun, and all functionalities will be delivered within the next few months.
Comarch’s product suite includes Comarch Convergent Billing, Comarch Interconnect Billing, Comarch Billing Mediation or Comarch Service Provisioning. The solution enables billing, rating and charging, pre-sales and sales support. It also features a product catalogue, fulfillment processes, and facilitates advanced billing management as well as execution of marketing campaigns, commissioning and financial reporting.
As per the agreement, Comarch will also deliver their corporate self-care solution as part of this package. This solution enables widespread customer self-service via the internet.
OnePhone Deutschland is a new German operator created as a joint venture between KPN and OnePhone Holding. The company aims to offer telephony services specifically for enterprises.
In a release, Marc Mauermann, CEO OnePhone Deutschland, said the comany selected Comarch because management felt confident that these products would allow them to reach their goals.
Ultimately, the German operator wants to create a flexible core system solution which would also be smoothly integrated. After reviewing the solutions the company decided to implement the complete Comarch BSS Suite and some Comarch OSS Suite modules.
