Avidas Selects Veeva Systems' VBioPharma Specialty Care Edition SaaS CRM Application
April 29, 2009
The life sciences industry’s SaaS CRM solution, VBioPharma comes pre-validated with PDMA and CFR Part 11 compliance. In addition, it also offers four editions in one product to accommodate the custom needs of various life sciences commercial teams such as primary care, KOL management, managed markets, specialty sales, according to company officials.
Avidas is a privately-held specialty pharmaceutical company committed to dermatology and women's health. The company said that it selected Veeva's VBioPharma application after reviewing several longstanding products in the industry.
“VBioPharma is technologically advanced and offers significantly more for at least 50 percent less than any other product we looked at,” said Dan McCall, COO at Avidas. “In fact, it 'significantly' in no way captures the value of what this solution offers over others.”
McCall said that many of the company’s sales representatives have worked with CRM products, yet they all comment on how the Web-based VBioPharma is intuitive and easy to use.
“They give kudos to the system for how adaptable it is, as well. When they suggest a change - like re-configuring fields in the call reporting detail, it happens as quickly and easily as that,” he added.
Matt Wallach, executive vice president and general manager at Veeva Systems, noted that Avidas represents why, in this economic climate, there is a growing requirement for software as a service (SaaS) fast across the life sciences industry.
“Avidas is a small, fast-paced company and our customers need speed, flexibility, and cost effectiveness and that is exactly what we deliver,” said Wallach.
