Convio Unveils New Toolkit to Help Nonprofits Choose Best Database
By Jai C.S., TMCnet Contributor
Convio, Inc., a provider of on-demand CRM software and services to nonprofit organizations has unveiled a new toolkit - “Toolbox for the Modern Nonprofit”.
The free toolkit is aimed at helping nonprofits to choose the best database for constituent management. Additionally, it includes the benefits of using an online database solution and the value of using a modern database for nonprofits to build relationships, create new opportunities and integrate with other technologies and applications.
According to Convio, nonprofit organizations often get distracted from their missions and fundraising by cumbersome technology and a lack of integrated constituent communications. Also, these organizations are often dealing with limitations and costly donor database systems.
With a keen focus to address this issue, Convio has been working to enable nonprofit organizations to get the right choice of software and services that guide them in technology and marketing methods that work for them. The company's online marketing suite offers integrated software for fundraising, advocacy, events, email marketing and Web content management. Its CRM system, Convio's Common Ground, helps organizations efficiently track and manage all interactions with supporters. All Convio products are delivered through the Software-as-a-Service (SaaS (News - Alert)) model.
CRM allows nonprofits to keep track of constituents, networks, and their interrelations. With CRM a nonprofit's volunteer management, campaign management and donor management systems can be coordinated and tailored to meet the needs of each department of an organization.
Currently, Convio clients include nonprofit organizations, Institutions of Higher Education, Associations and Faith-based organizations around the world such as American Red Cross, American Diabetes Association, American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, Humane Society of the United States, Easter Seals, National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Susan G. Komen for the Cure and Sierra Club.
