Prolify Intros ProMail for Salesforce on Force.com AppExchange

Prolify announced the release of ProMail for Salesforce on the Force.com AppExchange. ProMail will allow salesforce users to conveniently update Saleforce via email from Outlook or from their BlackBerry (News - Alert) devices. It also allows all information related to a Salesforce record to be present in one collaborative email.

 
Prolify added that ProMail for Salesforce is available for deployment from the salesforce.com Web site. The announcement was made at Dreamforce ’08 salesforce.com’s User and Developer Conference.
 
Users will benefit from several features included in the ProMail for Salesforce. They can update Salesforce CRM over email even if they are out of the office or offline. It also allows all relevant information of a Salesforce record to be included in one collaborative email. ProMail offers visibility into the status of sale opportunities within email.
 
The features of ProMail for Salesforce enable customers to increase adoption of salesforce CRM besides increasing the productivity and efficiency of their sales force. It actually helps sales personnel to focus more on selling and close a business successfully rather than spending time on other tasks.
 
“We focus on helping customers increase their adoption of Salesforce CRM and improve the efficiency of sales reps by making it easy for sale representatives to work with Salesforce and collaborate with their colleagues right in the place where they are most comfortable - their email. With Prolify ProMail, sales reps are more effective and companies get the most out of their Salesforce CRM investment,” explained Prolify CEO Ariela Avni.
 
Force.com is a Platform as a Service for building and running business applications in the cloud. This platform powers the Salesforce CRM applications besides 800 ISV partner applications of CODA and Fujitsu. It also powers 85,000 custom applications employed by salesforce.com’s 47,700 customers for companies like, Japan Post, Kaiser Permanente, KONE and Sprint Nextel (News - Alert).
 
Force.com enables the building and deploying of complex business applications. It helps unify the development and deployment model from the database to the device. This helps developers to assemble applications with clicks, components and code and also deploy them fast on salesforce.com’s infrastructure.
 
Force.com is used by customers and partners for building several business applications like supply chain management, compliance tracking, brand management, accounts receivable and claims processing applications besides others. Applications which are built using Force.com platform can be distributed to the SaaS (News - Alert) community via the Force.com AppExchange easily.
Prolify enables enterprises to increase their productivity by giving information workers a simple and easy way to work with each other and with enterprise applications by using simple email.
