Red Box (News - Alert) Recorders, a global provider of voice and data recording solutions designed to solve technical and complex business challenges, has expanded its list of Middle East resellers by appointing its first reseller in Oman in an agreement with Mideast Data Systems (MDS), part of the Midis Group.
As part of the pact, Red Box will become MDS’ preferred partner, providing advanced voice and data recording for unified communications solutions that are already used by public and private sector organizations within Oman.
“We wanted a strong partner that would complement our expertise within unified communications and provide us with a sophisticated recording capability,” said Michel Salloum, presales team leader at MDS Oman, in a statement.
Salloum said that Red Box is an established global provider of voice and data recording solutions that is not only recognized for its technical excellence but also its level of customer service. Thus, he said, the company is excited about growing the relationship moving forward. “We are committed to strengthening and growing our reseller network, which now exceeds more than 200 partners worldwide. Therefore, we are teaming up with likeminded and leading technology businesses such as MDS Oman to provide unrivalled levels of local sales and technical support,” said Lee Jones, CEO of Red Box Recorders (News - Alert).
Jones said that this will ensure that the company is best placed to expand the business and take advantage of opportunities in key regions and market sectors.
In April, TMCnet reported that Red Box Recorders had secured Microsofts Lync ISV qualification for its Quantify Recording Suite.
Securing this qualification means that the company’s voice and data recording software has become a qualified application for the Lync platform, enabling the effective capture, authentication, analysis and evaluation of key business interactions.
