Mailigen Launches Free E-Mail Marketing Service for Start-Ups

For small businesses and startup ventures, e-mails are by far the fastest and most effective means to communicate with potential clientele. But starting an e-mail campaign is no easy task, especially for startups.

E-mail marketing software maker, Mailigen, promises to make the task easier with its latest product – Epic Free account. This free opt-in e-mail marketing service, allowing marketers to grow their database up to 5,000 subscribers, will work for the smaller not-for-profits and charities as well.

Mailigen’s cloud-based e-mail system is used by businesses to create comprehensive e-mail campaigns and online surveys. In a news statement, Mailigen pointed out that its new service is aimed at helping new ventures to kickstart their new businesses.

In addition to small and medium-sized companies, the business incubators, accelerators, individual bloggers, group buying sites, companies developing apps and others can use this service to their advantage.

The free service provides the startups with an impressive double opt-in database of valuable e-mail addresses that are accurate and likely to generate less spam complaints. The contact lists are created using Mailigen sign-up forms and allows the marketers to keep track of the e-mails sent to the prospects.

The service can be availed by the marketers with a target audience in U.S., Europe and Asia.

With its unprecedented offer of a large number of free contacts, the new service represents a groundbreaking initiative in the area of online marketing. A number of reputable business incubators have agreed to offer Mailigen’s free e-mail marketing account as part of their start-up toolkit package, the company revealed in a news statement.

 “A new business is born every five seconds in [the] U.S., according to the Startup Ecosytem Report 2012 by Startup Genome. Forty-five percent of them last only six months before closing their doors. And only one in 12 businesses succeed and stay in the market. Twenty percent of startups fail because of improperly organized or lack of marketing activities,” said CEO of Mailigen Janis Rose. “We are here to offer free e-mail marketing to them.
