Indosoft Provides Asterisk 1.8 Support
Asterisk (News - Alert) is a free and open source framework that helps developers in creating new and exciting communications applications. Recently, Indosoft announced that the company has introduced Q-Suite 5.7.2, which provides support for Asterisk 1.8 Q-Suite. According to the company, this new suite makes use of Asterisk telephony to provide the best of benefits to the users.
Q-Suite 5.7.2 allows contact center technology managers to make use of either Asterisk 1.4 or Asterisk 1.8. It also provides other features such as Diaplan and Asterisk Manager Interface (AMI) functions. With this suite, there is no need to use the 'meetme' application. Also, with the help of Q-Suite ACD, the switching of calls can be done through AMI, the company has announced.
Indosoft (News - Alert) has used its many years of development experience to create Q-Suite from scratch. The company has had experience in developing Computer Telephony Integration (CTI (News - Alert)); the company has been able to provide this contact center ACD. It provides easy use for the users with advanced features such as Visual Call Flow (IVR and Diaplan) Builder.

Recently, the company announced that its Q-Suite offers load balancing for contact centers setup. This new facility is useful for hosted cloud based service providers, the company has stated.
