SalesPortal (News - Alert), a partnership marketing network for enterprises that uses contact centers as a strategic customer engagement channel, recently revealed some changes made to its executive team. The new team will aim at marketing services by large enterprise customers, thus deploying and supporting those solutions.
SalesPortal is the first partnership marketing network that enhances customer engagement by generating new revenue streams for enterprises with contact centers, as well as lowers marketers' customer acquisition costs.
Carol Snell, formerly SalesPortal’s executive director, is now CEO. Additionally, the company brought on Dan Reed, formerly an advisor to SalesPortal, as chief revenue officer. Even more, the company has named co-founder and former CEO Saurabh Khetrapal as its chief strategy officer.
The company is hoping this strategic rearranging will prove very advantageous in the long run, as Snell explains, “Going into 2013, we’re excited by the traction and pull that we see for our services among Fortune 1000 enterprises. We’ve assembled an experienced team to address the opportunity and accelerate our business.”
Snell has experience in high-growth, venture-funded companies providing customer service solutions. Her experiences includes venture financing, refining market direction for technology-focused businesses, building management teams and establishing strategic alliances. She also co-founded Aspect (News - Alert) Communications, was CEO of two startups, and was executive of a global communications company and board chairman for venture-backed startups.
Reed handles direct sales and indirect channel development, as well as helps drive the expansion of SalesPortal. He has co-founded two companies to deliver cloud-based virtual contact center solutions, and has held senior executive positions with companies in contact center and customer acquisition and care industries.
As Chief Strategy Office, Khetrapal will provide strategic direction for market opportunities, products and partnerships.
