W5 Templates Unveils Excel Templates for Problem Solving

January 24, 2013

W5 Templates has computerized the traditional "5 W's" approach for daily project and lifestyle administration. Users can now monitor, organize and thrive in project management in a simplified manner using W5T's Excel-based templates, which control the who, what, where, why and when of any engagement. The license has been priced for less than $300, with no monthly fees.

The "5 W's" formula, comprising of who, what, where, when and why, was discovered and applied by the Greek and Roman scholars in the 1st Century BC to obtain the entire story of a subject and for problem solving. The "5 W's" approach has been supported, polished and widely used in journalism, education, business and police investigation, among others.

A pre-modified and easily customizable Excel spreadsheet system is provided by W5T, ideal for CRM and Project Management teams in nearly any industry like sales, small business, product and real estate management. The system is also perfect for small to medium-sized businesses, or SMBs, and business segments inside bigger corporations. Users having a general idea of Microsoft (News - Alert) Excel will be able to use the W5T system easily and effortlessly. The system includes pre-programmed navigation buttons. The system can be set up easily without any assistance of the IT department. The system also features a dashboard and settings page.

In a statement, Dave Oshlag, founder of W5 Templates said, "For nearly 30 years, project management has been my professional passion and believe me, CRM giants such as Salesforce.com (News - Alert) are excellent. However, most people don't need all of the bells and whistles these CRM platforms provide and pay for more than what they need. Our Excel-based templates are for people who want an easier way to track and control projects, clients and sales and don't have the time, staff or money to manage a complex program."

W5 Templates was established in 2011 by Dave Oshlag, president of Project Marketing. Oshlag is a specialist in project management and also works as a consultant to Fortune 250 brands. The organization has computerized the ancient "5 W's" method of issue resolving and project administration and made it available as an Excel-based CRM template system.
