Zurmo Makes Translating its Open Source CRM Simpler
Open Source CRM is gaining popularity in the field of CRM and that’s not just because it’s free. Many experts believe an open source CRM is steadier than its paid counterparts as they do not crash very often.
Also, the source code can be easily modified to everybody’s convenience. This allows companies to easily make changes to Open Source CRM software to suit their specific needs.
According to Zurmo, enthusiasm for its Open Source CRM Project has been growing all over the world. It has therefore become necessary for the firm to make this application available in as many languages as possible, the company stated.
Zurmo’s Open Source Customer Relationship Management (CRM) makes the CRM process fun to follow with its inbuilt game like features. It allows users to create their own custom-built CRM system that’s usable even into a future of technological evolution.
“As the Zurmo project continues to gain momentum globally, we want it to be easy to include as many languages as possible,” stated Zurmo Community Manager, Stafford McKay. “Thanks to Sergey, you do not need to be a software engineer in order help with a Zurmo translation. We kind of think of ourselves as ninjas knocking down barriers to internationalization.”
Recently, the company introduced version 1.0 of its CRM application. The new version encourages users to follow CRM best practices by presenting it in the format of a game. It allows employees to compete with each other, and hence makes the application fun to use.
More seriously, the application is fully capable of handling a social CRM functionality as well.
