According to the government agency Germany Trade & Invest, the contact center sector is the fifth largest industry sector in Germany, recording a 10 percent annual agent growth rate over the past 10 years.
Altitude Software (News - Alert), a global player in Europe known for its modular software suite, is now gearing up to take advantage of its established presence in the DACH region by opening a new office in Dusseldorf, Germany. The company already has 17 offices in four continents and a strong partner network.
A local presence will enable Altitude to focus on regional business opportunities and to increase support to a growing customer base and partner network in German-speaking countries. This is in keeping with Altitude software's long-term strategy in the German market.
“We are driving a new phase of business in the DACH region by establishing a direct presence, working in German with our customers and shoring up our partners to provide innovative solutions for the emerging business dynamics in the region,” stated Gastão Taveira, CEO at Altitude Software.
Altitude Software, which has been serving leading contact center customers and partners from its Central Europe office in Brussels, is now aiming to further build its delivery capabilities.
“The regions’ contact centers dynamics are towards agile software solutions that allow freedom of choice among vendors, increase productivity, and improve service quality while keeping costs down,” noted Miguel Lopes, a 20-year veteran of the contact center industry and executive vice-president at Altitude Software, in a statement.
Mark Gutmann, who has tremendous experience in various roles in the call center, is expected to join the altitude team as Account Manager.
As part of its long-term strategy in Europe, Altitude Software has recently acquired a majority of Sweden-based Software as a Service (SaaS (News - Alert)) provider ASP Nordic from private investors. It plans to initially focus on Scandinavia and gradually work toward a phased global roll out.
