Microsoft Announces Microsoft Dynamics CRM Mobile

February 14, 2012

Users now have the provision to access the complete functionality of Microsoft (News - Alert) Dynamics CRM from their smartphones with the newly released service update, Microsoft Dynamics CRM Mobile.

Microsoft explained that the new Microsoft Dynamics CRM Q2 2012 service update is supposed to enable cross browser and cross platform capability for its web client and it includes a cloud-based native mobile application that is stated to be compatible with Windows Phone 7, iPad, iPhone (News - Alert), Android and BlackBerry mobile devices. Until now Microsoft CRM was accessible only over Internet Explorer and the new update features multiple Web browser options including Chrome, Firefox and Safari, running on PC, Macintosh and iPad devices.

The company added that in today's hyper-connected world, customers need to be able to access their business-critical data on the device of their choice from wherever they are. These advancements, combined with the strength of the Microsoft platform, make Microsoft Dynamics CRM an obvious choice for any business.

This robust mobile solution was designed in partnership with CWR Mobility and it was equipped with the capability to take advantage of third party products. CWR Mobile CRM is slated to power Microsoft Dynamics CRM Mobile and on-premise internet facing deployment (IFD) scenarios in which customers prefer to run their mobility solution in the cloud.

Microsoft acknowledged that CWR Mobility’s Mobile CRM solution enjoys strong acceptance among Microsoft Dynamics CRM users, and with this partnership and the new Microsoft Dynamics CRM Mobile solution, users are provided with an advanced cross-platform solution for mobilizing CRM in the industry. Using the cloud-based, cross-platform, native mobile client service, customers will now be able to sync their information and sales pipelines offline, helping them stay connected on the road and on their terms.

Microsoft asserted that the Microsoft Dynamics CRM Mobile will be available at a starting price of $30 per user, per month and supports the use of up to three devices per user.
