AMI's Geo Planning Suite to Improve Sales in Small to Medium-sized Companies

February 09, 2012

AMI-Partners has launched an innovative suite of products comprised in the SMB Geo Planning Suite (GPS) which will help to drive sales and streamline channel marketing. This latest innovation was in line with the companies 15 year tradition of enhancing sales capabilities of teams via targeting the SMB space.

“This proven suite of services has been successfully used by leading ICT players to transform their SMB GTM practices,” said Deepinder Sahni, senior vice president at AMI-Partners, in a press release.

The Prospect Targeting Tool/Gearbox does just what its name suggests, helping to identify specific SMBs that show an inclination to invest in an ICT solution through the use of AMI's segmentation models. Segment profiling also helps to identify buying behaviors and needs, improving the conversion rate.

The U.S. State & Metro SMB Demand and Forecast Model is a demand forecasting tool that helps to quantify opportunities for the 2012-16 timeframe. The model will help forecast consumer demand for more that 90 ICT categories, how the demand will fluctuate and how to inventorize correctly. This will make companies more competitive in the marketplace and will also help stem costs that are not necessary.

Sahni commenting on the benefits of the suite, added, “It can be used straight out of the box or customized to each vendor’s unique needs. By using this suite, a marketer can pinpoint an attractive prospect at the zip code level, assess the prospect’s needs, then guide a suitably qualified channel partner to engage the prospect and deliver a winning value proposition.”

In related news, AMI-Partners’ recently released  its 2011 Route-to-Market Opportunity Model which shows that in emerging markets such as China, India, Brazil and Russia, SMB cloud services spending and investments through service providers will increase nearly six-fold from $111M in 2011 to $615M by 2015.
