AMC's CRM Connector Now Offered to Cisco CRM Connector Customers
AMC Technology, a software development company specializing in multi-channel contact center integration software and also a member of Cisco (News
- Alert) Developer Network partners, assured that it will help customers to have a smooth transition from Cisco products to AMC.
AMC’s announcement follows Cisco’s End-of-Sale and End-of-Life announcement made back in July 2011 regarding its Unified CRM Connector for Microsoft (News
- Alert) Dynamics CRM, PeopleSoft, and Salesforce. Cisco eventually encouraged its customers to migrate to an integration solution offered by Cisco Developer Network partners. Customers can now switch from Cisco Unified CRM Connector to AMC’s fully certified and supported CRM connector.
"This subsequent EOL/EOS announcement solidifies our earlier belief that Cisco is getting out of the CRM integration business," Anthony X. Uliano, founder and chief technology officer of AMC Technology, LLC said in a press release.
"Customers can be confident AMC will support them during their transition from Cisco products to AMC," Uliano added.
AMC’s MCIS product is certified against leading CRM applications such as SAP, Oracle (News
- Alert) Siebel and PeopleSoft CRM, Salesforce.com, and Microsoft and leading contact center solutions such as Avaya, Cisco, and Aspect. For more than sixteen years, AMC has been offering fully certified and supported integration to Cisco contact center platforms. AMC also offers integration to custom and homegrown CRM/business applications with subscription based licensing available for all products.
In its statement, AMC said that there will be no product fees associated with the migration. Company also clarified that it would only charge for services to handle the new installation and customers will execute support agreements directly with AMC at the time of the migration at our current maintenance rates.
AMC recently won TMC’s (News - Alert) Customer Interaction Solutions magazine’s 2011 Product of the Year Award for its Multi-Channel Integration Suite. The suite provides real-time connectivity between leading CRM applications and contact center solutions.
