InvisibleCRM Creates IDE for Oracle CRM Desktop

January 25, 2012

Development firm InvisibleCRM (News - Alert) just announced that it will release InvisibleStudio toolset, an IDE for Oracle's (News - Alert) CRM Desktop. The product in question is a powerful integrated development environment, or IDE, that allows developers to create their own products to personalize the experience in CRM Desktop, basing itself on the OutlookBridge platform by InvisibleCRM. The product's launch will first target CRM Desktop support, but it will not discount other similar products. InvisibleCRM says that it will add support for other products in later releases.

CRM Desktop allows for Outlook integration with Oracle CRM, bringing the powerful application's capabilities into the popular electronic mail application. CRM Desktop aims to make sales simpler, giving administrators access to customer account info, contact information, appointments, opportunities and other aspects of a typical CRM environment within Microsoft (News - Alert) Outlook.

InvisibleStudio lets you access pre-compiled data for easier development of projects, giving you a powerful interface that contains all the tools necessary to create, modify, validate, and run packages; all while running alongside CRM Desktop. The application development utility resembles Microsoft Visual Studio in that it allows you to hone in on key aspects and issues of a project before launching it or even debugging. InvisibleStudio also lets developers check the application for errors even before running, ensuring that everything will work seamlessly with the Siebel server.

Vlad Vorkrensensky, CEO of InvisibleCRM, says that, “CRM Desktop for Siebel, Oracle on Demand and Fusion has tremendously simplified life for CRM users. Now, with InvisibleStudio, we've finally taken care of CRM administrators and developers too. CRM desktop is a very powerful and flexible product and we've realized that customizing it is not an easy task. Making InvisibleStudio available, we're confident that CRM consultants and developers will love it just as CRM users love CRM Desktop.”
