Al-Sorayai Deploys Oracle Retail Applications for Its Furniture Retail Concept in Saudi Arabia

- Alert) Retail Merchandising and Stores applications in just six months. The company, which had decided to expand its business operations to include home furnishings, opted to implement the Oracle Retail Merchandising and Stores applications to drive the launch and expansion of its new furniture retail concept, HomeStyle, across Saudi Arabia.
Al-Sorayai has put into place a number of growth initiatives to drive operations for its new line of business. The company is making use of its office and its expanding number of retail outlets to enable better collaboration with its suppliers. Leveraging the Oracle Retail Merchandising System, as well as the Oracle Retail Invoice Matching, Oracle Retail Sales Audit, and Oracle Retail Price Management applications, Al-Sorayai has been able to coordinate its merchandising operations which have helped in improving inventory visibility across the business. The company has also benefited from improved pricing and replenishment decisions which effectively enhance margins and bring down inventory expenses.
Al-Sorayai has in place a standardized store operations platform which includes the Oracle Retail Point-of-Service, Oracle Retail Back Office, as well as Oracle Retail Central Office and Oracle Retail Store Inventory Management to further improve its customer experience by taking into account performance of store and items as well as buying decisions of its customers.
The company decided to implement the Oracle Retail system for its robust retail functionality, and scalability options which drive business expansion by combining with the current Oracle E-Business Suite Financials.
