RMI Advantage Mobile Users Now Can Generate Quick Quoting with CRM
Avon, CT-based provider of enterprise rental, sales, and service solutions for mid-market companies, RMI Corporation announced the release of Contact Relationship Management (CRM) for ADVANTAGE Mobile users.
The newly launched solution will enable ADVANTAGE Mobile users to generate rental or sales quotes, look up customer and prospect information including history, email current and historical customer documents (including invoices and receipts), and more.
CRM functionality can offer multiple benefits to the mobile users. These functionalities simplify the business process, making it easier for the employees to access business data. According to some estimates, since September 2011 the number of mobile users nearly doubled owing to the introduction of CRM functionality for Mobile Users. In 2011, RMI experienced strong growth in the Mobile User market and anticipates the continuation of this trend in 2012.
In a statement, David G. Richards, vice president of Client Services at RMI noted, “Since September 2011 we have seen Mobile Users more than double, leading to the development of CRM functionality for Mobile Users. The ability to add and modify contact information for the people you interact with, when you are interacting with them is paramount. The time, effort, and paper wasted to collect contact information received in the field, and then input after you return to your desk is unnecessary.”
He added, “At RMI, we believe processes should be simple for our customers; with this in mind we designed quick quoting for Mobile Users. A Mobile user can generate a sales or rental quote in just a few steps and email it from their smart device.”
An ADVANTAGE Mobile user interacts with ADVANTAGE through a unique and simplified interface designed specifically for the small screens found on smart phones, barcode scanners and other mobile devices. Contact Relationship Management enabled ADVANTAGE Mobile helps the employees stay on task, while moving either in the office, warehouse or in the field. The ADVANTAGE Mobile user allows companies to extend the reach of their business solution, enabling them to collect more information in real time and with less effort and cost.
RMI currently has over 5,000 users worldwide using the ADVANTAGE Solution that represent various segments of the industry. Contact Relationship Management for ADVANTAGE Mobile is immediately available to ADVANTAGE customers, RMI informed in the press release.
In September, RMI announced the release of four new features for ADVANTAGE Mobile Users. These new business features were designed to deliver inventory efficiencies by recording movement of your rental fleet and parts inventory as it happens. By managing rental returns, rental asset inquiries and inventory transfers on mobile devices, ADVANTAGE users provide customers with higher levels of service.
