Five9 Expands to New Office
Expansion is a good thing, and when your business needs to grow, it’s generally proof that you’re doing something right. Incorporating tools that allow your company to develop with ease is a great way to stay ahead of the curve. Take for the example the contact center industry where the ability to add work stations at a low cost is crucial to the expansion of an operation. By using a hosted solution contact centers can setup agents through a connected computer, giving them access to the tools they need while eliminating hardware upgrades in most cases.
Hosted software provider, Five9 (News - Alert) offers call centers the support they need to expand as needed, with power software that can handle nearly every necessary application. "We can accommodate call centers from three employees up to 1,000," Osborn said. "We are seeing customer growth across a number of industries. We provide inbound and outbound calling. Customers can scale their call centers depending on demand, people can work at home, they can outsource, they can insure. We provide a lot more business flexibility."
And for Five9, offering customers help with their expansion needs has allowed the company to grow itself. Last week the company announced its second major expansion in 2011, with news that they’ll be leasing 50,000 square feet at the office complex at San Ramon’s Bishop Ranch Business Park.
Five9 has plans to relocate its headquarters and other operations. The call center on demand provider currently occupies 28,000 square feet in Pleasanton. "We need more space because we are growing so quickly. This move is all about growth -- growth in employees, growth in our revenue, our growth prospects. We are excited about the market opportunities that we are addressing,” said Ken Osborn, Five9's vice president of marketing.
Because of the ever increasing demand for hosted call center products, Five9 has seen a tremendous growth in recent years. In 2011, employee head count grew about 50 percent and the company has expanded twice. Five9 anticipates roughly 70 percent revenue growth in 2011, over 2010, so it’s not unlikely another expansion is in its future.
