KFC and Pizza Hut Opts for Acumatica Cloud ERP
Kentucky Fried Chicken Management Pte Ltd and Pizza Hut Singapore Pte Ltd have chosen Acumatica Cloud ERP to replace an aging JD Edwards software deployment.
Acumatica was selected over client-server alternatives because the Cloud delivered a highly scalable solution that could be centrally managed and accessed from anywhere.
Officials said that both the companies, by moving to the Cloud, will now be able to reduce maintenance costs associated with desktop software, gain access to applications from anywhere, and consolidate multiple business functions under a single centralized system.
In a release, Sergey Vereshchagin, Managing Director of Acumatica Singapore, said: "KFC management realized it was time to streamline operations and upgrade to a modern Cloud system." "Acumatica allowed KFC to make the upgrade and gain real-time access to a single business system to manage accounting, purchasing, catering sales, fixed assets, and inventory."
KFC, with the help of Acumatica Cloud ERP will be allowed to centralize decision making across multiple locations and multiple systems.
By eliminating client software and costly upgrades, Acumatica will also help reduce the total cost of ownership. Unlike other Cloud solutions, it includes robust integration tools to simplify data import and communication with other external systems.
"KFC is another example of a brand name company making the move to SaaS (News

"The ability to deploy an internal cloud, customize source code, and change business logic makes Acumatica an attractive option for businesses looking to upgrade from client-server solutions without being locked-in to SaaS-only providers."
