Results Software, XpandedReports Announce Strategic Partnership to Create Advanced Reports Viewable Across Multiple Apps
To extend workflow efficiency via a highly flexible, streamlined solution for sharing and storing advanced QuickBooks reports across an organization, customer relationship management (CRM) and business solutions provider Results Software has inked a strategic partnership with SaaS (News
- Alert) application provider XpandedReports. This partnership will leverage the bi-directional integration between Results CRM and SmartVault, a cloud-based document management platform.
With XpandedReports’ recent integration with SmartVault, users can now view reports in any of these three applications—Results CRM, QuickBooks and SmartVault. It offers an efficient simplified process for storing and sharing reports within a secure environment, both inside and outside the office, said the partners.
In a statement, Lee Walthall, president and CEO of XpandedReports, commented, “Integration with Results CRM is another huge step in the integration story.” He added, “Leveraging our existing integration with SmartVault, users can save reports created in XpandedReports and view them in the application of choice, whether that’s Results CRM or QuickBooks. This provides flexibility in how reports are distributed, and makes reports instantly available to all users within an organization.”
In another statement, Results Software president and founder Sam Saab stated, “Integration is one of the single most important concepts in the profession… True innovation comes when software vendors work together to allow their applications to ‘talk’ to one another. Integration across multiple apps like Results CRM, XpandedReports, QuickBooks, and SmartVault accelerates workflow efficiency and enables data visibility across an organization,” noted Saab.
Key benefits of this seamless integration between these applications include the ability to create advanced QuickBooks reports that are stored in a single location, making them instantly available to all users within the organization, a reports library that is available across all departments and viewable from within the user’s application of choice, and the capability to eliminate the need to announce availability of reports via email, as well as avoiding search for past emails. Plus, it allows full data visibility across an organization, enabling users to set up a central data hub to view up-to-date, accurate information, offers flexibility and ease of use, and provides a powerful tool to manage organization-wide operations.
Further commenting on this deal, Bonnie Nagayama, CPA and Intuit (News - Alert) QuickBooks proadvisor stated, “The value of this level of integration is exceptional for both the end user and the accounting consultant community. For the user, it offers tremendous efficiency gains. For consultants, it further empowers us to help our clients elevate organization-wide productivity through the use of leading, integrated solutions, which ultimately offers the client a major competitive advantage.”
