Asure Software Acquires Legiant

December 16, 2011

Asure Software, Inc., a provider of workforce management software, has acquired Legiant, an Austin, Texas-based provider of cloud computing time and attendance software and management services.

Legiant is a reseller of ADI Time based time and attendance solutions that deliver improvements in workforce productivity through a software-as-a-service (SaaS (News - Alert)) platform.

The integration of software, hardware and professional services creates a comprehensive suite of time accounting solutions that is easy to use and accessible with a Web browser.

“This acquisition fits with our cloud growth strategy via high synergy / low integration risk transactions,” said Pat Goepel, chief executive officer, Asure, in a statement.

“We are excited to enhance our workforce management solution while utilizing our sizable tax loss asset to create meaningful client and shareholder value,” said Goepel.

Steven Rodriguez, chief operating officer, Asure said that Asure Software provides the technology behind the Legiant Timecard product which creates a natural synergy between the two companies.

“The Legiant mobile solutions are an exciting addition to the Asure time and labor management product suite,” said Rodriguez.

Back in October Asure Software, Inc. had announced that it has acquired ADI Time, a Warwick, R.I.-based leading vendor of cloud computing time and attendance software and labor management services.

ADI Time’s solutions help companies improve the supervision of their workforces, provide better visibility into labor costs, and achieve greater operational efficiencies.

Through the asset purchase agreement, Asure will now offer ADI Time’s full suite of on-site and software-as-a-service (SaaS) time and attendance solutions.

Earlier in May, Parature (News - Alert), a global leader in cloud-based customer engagement software, had announced Asure Software has selected and successfully implemented Parature’s customer service and support solutions for Asure’s growing Business-to-Business customer base.

With the roll-out of Parature, Asure anticipates faster resolution of support issues, higher customer satisfaction rates and improved insight and analysis into the existing Asure product suite.
