Sheetster Server PRO 4.1 offers Business Unparalleled Power and Flexibility,

Claiming to be the first commercially open source web spreadsheet server, Sheetster Server PRO 4.1 is compatible with Excel, cost-effective, flexible, secure and can be edited and shared online. It is a Java based application server and will run on a variety of hardware and operating systems both virtual and physical.

The upgraded version has enhanced memory performance and faster grid loading times. This is because Sheetster PRO's scalable vector graphics no longer depend upon JavaScript libraries but can be directly generated from server-resident charting objects. Users can hence build compelling and dynamic data charts directly into web content.

With the new enhanced features, enterprises are expected to find it easier to tackle large and demanding spreadsheets while users can also export spreadsheet dates to PDF in high-fidelity. Other features include new data auto-fill and paste-fill capabilities, several new formula functions and other internal enhancements.

McMahon added that they would continue to improve the product so that it retained the top position in the open source spreadsheet solution category.

Sheetster PRO 4.1 is available for immediate download and includes one full year of support for all point and version upgrades. Linux, OSX, and Windows installers are also available for immediate download.
