Kolmisoft Releases Advanced Version of VoIP Softswitch for Telecom Sector
Kolmisoft, a global provider of advanced telecom billing and routing solutions and services to the telecommunication industry worldwide, recently released the latest version of MOR, its advanced VoIP Softswitch MOR. MOR 11, which comes with billing and routing functionality, has been designed to enable alternative telecoms to improve their voice services significantly.
In its latest version, MOR 11 will support expanded API (application programming interface). This will allow telecoms to integrate their billing and routing data with any ERP, CRM or accounting software. This integration is expected to accelerate customer service processes including helpdesk, reporting and invoicing.
The updated product is expected to deliver improved active calls monitoring and improved online cash flow monitoring for small and mid-sized telecommunication companies focused on delivering various VoIP services. According to Kolmisoft, the companies working in VoIP retail, wholesale, calling cards, call shops, resale and system integration markets will particularly benefit from MOR 11.
This new active calls functionality will allow administrators to see the particular calls that are in the system at that moment. In case of any fluctuation or irregularity, administrators can react in real time and e-mail alerts are sent to the telecom customers.
In case of drastic increase in traffic, the customer can be blocked. While, the telecom customers are free to set the benchmarks, MOR 11 provides the control. The overall stability of the system is maintained as a net result, Kolmisoft explained in a press release.
Moreover, in its latest version, MOR 11 has been equipped with an absolutely new functionality that will allow telecoms to build their own clouds and launch a virtual multiline business telephone system, or PBX (News - Alert). With MOR 11, companies can make connections among internal telephones and eliminate the need to manage or pay for on-site hardware maintenance., Kolmisoft claimed in the release.
“With hundreds of new features, this new version of MOR is the easiest and fastest way for voice service providers to increase profits from their daily operations. MOR 11 gives every telecom the tool they need to control the quality of calls, improve their service level and protect voice services from hacking and money loss,” CEO of Kolmisoft Mindaugas Kezys noted in a statement.
“Traffic hacking is a big headache for VoIP telecoms. There’re millions of people using VoIP, and any secure system is incapable of avoiding illegal access if user passwords are guessed or disclosed. MOR provides effective alerting to minimize money loss even if the telecom’s infrastructure is hacked,” Kezys further explained.
Earlier Kolmisoft announced the sealing of a reseller agreement with Colocation America (News - Alert), a U.S. data center provider, for its MOR softswitches. According to an ealirt press release, this agreement will allow Colocation America to expand its offerings of professional VoIP billing and routing solutions.
