Allot Communications Expands Proactive Analytics Suite to Include Mobile-Specific Metrics

December 06, 2011

Allot (News - Alert) Communications announced that it has expanded its Proactive Analytics suite to encompass mobile-specific metrics.

In a release Andrei Elefant, VP of marketing and product management at Allot, said, “We have been working closely with our customers to ensure their data revenue growth outpaces their traffic growth. A successful data monetization strategy hinges on network insights delivered at the right time.”

It was revealed by company sources that the Proactive Analytics is a comprehensive suite of network analysis tools that have been designed especially to deliver accurate and meaningful business intelligence. Using these tools it is possible to empower operator all decision-makers from engineering to marketing.

Actually the tools are designed to enable mobile operators to make considerable profits derived from knowledge of subscriber data.

Proactive Analytics leverages real-time data procured by Allot’s inline platforms. It is capable of representing visually performance and activity metrics that can be easily interpreted. Operators will be able to derive a clear understanding of network usage and subscriber behavior up to the finer details.

The new addition to the Proactive Analytics suite is a set of mobile specific analytics that helps operators to assess both strategic and tactical intelligence. These details include popular handset and usage patterns, which applications are most popular on which type of device, and how much bandwidth they consume, said officials.

Operators will gain a lot from the analysis which will let them take decisions regarding next best step toward facilitating new revenue streams. The decisions for new content partnerships, value-based charging plans and application-based tiered services are optimized.

“We believe that the Proactive Analytics suite combined with the performance of the Allot Service Gateway (News - Alert), best positions operators to evolve their broadband networks into powerful revenue engines,” Elefant added.

According to a release on TMCnet, three companies in the Systems Software industry have indicated highest future earnings growths. The growth of earnings per share (next fiscal year estimated vs. current fiscal year estimated) is important to gauge future profitability and relative value. Higher EPS growth generally justifies higher earnings multiples. Allot Communications (News - Alert) is one among them with a future earnings growth of 24.5 percent.
