Infuze Mobile Announces Launch of Its New Mobile App on the Salesforce.com AppExchange Mobile Platform

December 06, 2011

Infuze Mobile, Inc., a provider of social media and mobility solutions for enterprises and consumers, announced the launch of the ConnectSocial for Salesforce app, its new mobile app, over the salesforce.com AppExchange Mobile platform. ConnectSocial for Salesforce has been made available for testing on the AppExchange Mobile. By launching its new mobile app, Infuze Mobile has effectively expanded the social enterprise marketplace.

Leveraging the ConnectSocial for Salesforce app, users will be able to view their LinkedIn (News - Alert) and Google contacts and leads and will be able to send LinkedIn invites and messages to their contacts. The app converges all LinkedIn and Salesforce contacts and leads in one place so sales, marketing and HR professionals will be able to access their contacts from one location. Furthermore, users will be able to research and check the background of their contacts and leads prior to contacting them. Infuze Mobile's new mobile app has been made available on the iPod touch, iPhone and iPad and runs on iOS 3.1.3 or later.

In a release, Bharath Natarajan, CEO and co-Founder, Infuze Mobile, Inc., said, “Social media has become a critical source of customer data for sales, marketing, and service professionals. The ConnectSocial for Salesforce app unlocks the potential of social media by providing LinkedIn integration to Salesforce data on the user’s mobile devices.”

ConnectSocial effectively leverages the social, mobile, and open cloud technology solutions of salesforce.com by delivering LinkedIn integration with Salesforce contacts and leads over mobile devices. The app provides pertinent information about a contact or lead over the phone or via email. Furthermore, the app allows users to put a face to a name and makes it easy to look up common connections which can help them connect socially with their customers and leads.

As social networking expands, an increasing number of users prefer accessing the Internet from their mobile devices as opposed to their desktops. Salesforce.com (News - Alert) focuses on providing solutions for the enterprise customers which can help them address the specific challenge of the explosive social revolution. And if a business has to survive in the competitive marketplace, it needs to modernize the ways in which it collaborates and communicates as well as shares information with customers and its workforce.
