Business Software, Inc. Offers Latest Version of SoftSell CRM Software to Laid-Off Solyndra Employees
Business Software, Inc., provider of payroll tax software, services and support, announced that the first 100 ex-employees of Solyndra, provider of solar power solutions, will be offered with the latest version of its SoftSell Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software free of cost. The company is hoping that its initiative will help drive other such offers from business establishments and from social networking companies to help the laid off employees of Solyndra.
In a release, Curtis Panasuk, President, and CEO of Business Software, Inc., said, "This offer was an easy decision because I was laid off early in my career and I know how it feels. Also, our employee motto is 'do the right thing,' so this effort is consistent with our company values. We have been working around the clock to finish this new version of SoftSell and make it available to the laid-off Solyndra employees. Our Google (News
- Alert) advertising program has been suspended so that we can clear the decks and make this offer our number one priority."
Sales people are the ones who are looking for employment as their work depends on selling their expertise and skills to consumers who can be potential employers. The SoftSell CRM software from Business Software will support sales professionals as it helps in keeping a track of essential information pertaining to easy customer or potential employer. Information that is tracked by the CRM software includes notes, website details, conversions, next steps, documents and links to social networking sites such as Facebook and LinkedIn.
A CD-ROM disk containing the SoftSell CRM software and a disk detailing a step-by-step user's guide will be provided by Business Software through priority mail.
Curtis Panasuk, said, "Sales is all about problem solving and being an agent for positive change. We believe everyone is a salesperson -- to their family, friends, business associates, and customers. Our mission is to bring CRM software to 'the rest of us' and give everyone a chance to be the best salesperson possible. While Marc Benioff at Salesforce.com is targeting the corporate salesperson (where the cloud counts), we are targeting everyone else which begins with self-employed persons and sales professionals working at home or in small offices."
