UK's Leading FMGC Company Selects Callidus' Litmos LMS

- Alert) Inc. recently reported the winning of a new client for its Litmos' SaaS-based Learning Management Solution (LMS).
In a press release, Callidus revealed that the new client belongs to UK’s fast moving consumer goods sector. The client, a leading FMGC company, has selected Litmos to power its training platform for over 1,000 users in the United Kingdom, Callidus clarified.
The agreement, according to the company was signed in the third quarter of 2011.

This deal is further validation of the strength of the Litmos value proposition and its increasing penetration at organizations of all sizes around the world,” Vice President and General Manager of Litmos Rich Chetwynd commented in a statement.
Over the past few months, Callidus has been reporting strong momentum for its Litmos product. Litmos LMS, a part of Callidus Software's Cloud, is a fast growing online training system that has been designed to make the management and delivery of web-based training courses easy for business users.
Earlier customers included Fair Housing Solutions, LLC, the leader in fair housing and accessibility training; Edgewords Ltd, one of the leading training providers in the UK; Retail Advocacy Group LLC, leading professional consulting services for retailers, distributors, and service providers; and Coach Across America (CAA), an AmeriCorps program launched by Up2Us to provide the support needed to train and host highly effective coaches in sports and youth development.
The fully Sharable Content Object Reference Model (SCORM) certified, Litmos provides the organizations with a quick, flexible, easy-to-use platform to help them create and distribute web-based content in multiple formats, and track results in real-time. Courses created on the Litmos LMS are automatically accessible from iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, and Android (News - Alert) devices as well as the web so that users can access courses anywhere, anytime.
In the first week of September, Callidus Software announced its acquisition of Rapid Intake, the leader in collaborative rapid e-learning authoring.
