DSPanel in Pact with Infomotion to Bring Financial Planning Software to German Market

DSPanel, a provider of financial planning software solutions, and Infomotion, a German BI consulting firm, announced their agreement to extend DSPanel's technology to the German market.

The strategic partnership enables Infomotion to offer Canvas Planning, a financial planning and performance management solution, to multiple industries throughout the German speaking market, company officials said.

“We first became aware of DSPanel after they won a contract with German pump maker, Sterling Solutions,” said Mark Zimmermann, general manager at Infomotion, in a statement.

“Our decision to select DSPanel's Canvas Planning as a key offering for the German speaking market reflects the growing need for high performing, easy-to-use planning software that enables the finance department to shorten fiscal cycles and budget times and make more informed decisions,” Zimmermann added.

Infomotion customers are looking for a financial planning toolkit that enables them to do their jobs better. Leveraging Canvas Planning, its customers can integrate solutions within existing systems.

“With the current financial crisis, companies are demanding better ways to improve their budgeting and forecasting cycles; this means improving both their accuracy and also the ability to shorten their cycle times,” said Peder Ekstrand, founder and chairman at DSPanel.

Recently, Blincker, a U.K.-based provider of business intelligence, financial planning and analysis and performance management solutions, announced its partnership with DSPanel. This alliance is in line with DSPanel’s plans to bring mobile planning input schedules to mobile devices across the globe, giving financial departments an important tool to help shorten budgeting and reporting cycles.
