Portal Claims Switches Call Center Address Look-Up Software to Postcode Anywhere
Software and services specialist Postcode Anywhere announced that Portal Claims, part of the Portal Group of specialist financial services companies, has saved substantial costs by switching its call center address look-up software to Postcode Anywhere.
Established in 2004, Portal Claims helps people recover their money when they have been mis-sold a financial product. With a telesales team of 40, the company needed an address finder and validation service that could improve the accuracy of their data, while also helping the company fulfill data protection obligations.
Postcode Anywhere helped the firm develop Access databases across the group. The solution can be easily integrated without the need for any additional programming.
Robert Allen, group operations manager of The Portal Group, said, “As an Access visual basic developer, Postcode Anywhere provides me with a quick and easy way of integrating what is, after all, an excellent address finder into my applications.”
The ‘cloud’-based set-up gives the company access to the very latest PAF customer address details each day. Postcode Anywhere has helped the team cut a ten minute call to eight minutes. “Reducing call time by 20 percent enables our staff to be more productive. If you multiply this by 40 the time saved per call over a seven-hour day is significant,” Allen said.
“At Postcode Anywhere we simply don’t feel there should be any compromise on price, ease of integration or the customer service you receive when it comes to procuring enterprise-level address look-up software,” said Postcode Anywhere’s Managing Director Guy Mucklow, in a statement.
“We believe the success of this approach is reflected in Postcode Anywhere’s majority market share in address look-up for websites, and in the fact we continue to make inroads into the market for desktop, call center and other office-based address capture,” Mucklow added.
Earlier in July Postcode Anywhere announced it has joined the Capgemini (News - Alert) Immediate platform, delivering its address auto-fill services to Immediate's first client.
