TALIS Group Selects Management Dynamics' Export On-Demand
Looking to centralize and automate its global export compliance processes, TALIS Group, a provider of water valves and services for the whole water cycle, has selected Management Dynamics’ Export On-Demand solution.
Creating a highly complex compliance environment, the TALIS Group subsidiaries trade with approximately 30,000 parties around the globe. Apart from its ability to support a phased deployment, Management Dynamics solution was chosen also because of its worldwide breadth of coverage, spanning more than 200 restricted party lists. Apart from the ability to add additional functionality, such as License Determination and Classification, as their compliance needs evolve, TALIS’ most immediate need was automating restricted party screening, which is a key component of Management Dynamics’ comprehensive Export On-Demand solution, the company stated in a press release.
Nathan Pieri, Senior Vice President of Product Management and Marketing at Management Dynamics, commented in a company press release: “With its highly complex organizational structure and rapid expansion, TALIS Group has done very well to implement the first stage of a centralized global trade compliance program in such a short time.”
Prompting TALIS to consolidate management of its global trade compliance capabilities, the company’s European group has acquired multiple companies that now operate as TALIS Group subsidiaries, over the past year. With additional European entities scheduled to come online in stages over the coming weeks, Management Dynamics’ Export On-Demand solution has been running at all German entities in TALIS Group, since the beginning of May.
Recently, the company announced the release of Export On-Demand 1.2, its export compliance solution for small and medium-sized exporters. The company explained that this new release allows enhanced compliance screening and management of export licenses. Export On-Demand can be easily configured and deployed in a SaaS (News
