Altair's HiQube to Help LSG Insurance Partners Restructure Customer Service

Altair Engineering, a provider of simulation technology and engineering services, asserted that its HiQube simulation-driven business intelligence and data analytics solution has been deployed by LSG Insurance Partners to streamline customer service.

With headquarters in Bloomfield Hills, Mich., LSG's team of over hundred insurance professionals provide consultation and value-based solutions to thousands of employers nationally. LSG claimed that it provides the most innovative and cost-effective risk management and benefits programs available today.

With HiQube, LSG will be able to fasten delivery of pertinent business information and metrics to its staff which increases success rates and also generate dynamic reports that are visually richer, with graphics and capabilities to drill down to core-level data for deeper insights. In place of static, tabular- column-data reports, LSG staff now can view visually rich reports with dynamic graphs and data, allowing them to drill down for more details.

According to Altair, HiQube combines three data management methodologies, hierarchical, relational and multi-dimensional, within single, unified database architecture. With the ability to take advantage of the strengths of each methodology within a single database management system, HiQube delivers a high-performance BI solution that is fast and able to handle heterogeneous datasets that are unlimited in size.

LSG acknowledged that HiQube is helping the company serve customers better and more efficiently. Now its reporting is more streamlined, reliable and consistent; and the time saved in compiling and reviewing reports translates to more time that LSG can spend with clients, offering them advice based on up-to-the-minute data.

Officials with Altair remarked that LSG Insurance Partners has reaped such important benefits in so brief a time because HiQube is designed to integrate with SQL Server or any relational store. HiQube draws on the server's database to formulate reports, key performance indicators and graphical analytics that allow businesses to obtain the most from their SQL and HiQube investments.
