New Infographic for Social Learning Published by SkillSoft
A new infographic has been made available by SkillSoft. A social learning strategy for their organizations can be developed by training professionals with the help of the infographic. A visual tool is provided to organizations by SkillSoft’s Social Learning infographic. The tool explains the manner in which social learning can complement and integrate into existing corporate programs.
The last few years has seen a shift in the e-learning industry. Collaborative and social learning are now being integrated into traditional learning models. In a release, Josh Bersin who is the CEO and president of Bersin Associates said, “Our research indicates social learning has become an essential part of today’s corporate training programs and is the fastest-growing part of the informal learning segment. Social learning is about collaboration and community – the coming together for information and support.”
According to Bersin, the benefits of social learning are being recognized by organizations. A strategy to strengthen the performance of employees is also being developed by organizations.
A series of six events across the country are being offered by SkillSoft to address the growth of social learning and the ‘we-learning’ model. An interactive, hands-on setting will feature SkillSoft executives. E-learning industry experts from Bersin & Associates will be also be speaking at the events.
An opportunity to learn from experts in social learning will be provided to the attendees of the complimentary half-day interactive workshops. Apart from discussing all of the latest trends and technologies, the attendees will also learn to implement the best practices of social learning in an enterprise.
According to John Ambrose who is the SVP for strategy, corporate development and emerging business at SkillSoft, organizations can learn how to leverage social learning with the new social learning infographic and the We-Learning Workshops.
Interested people can register for the We-Learning events. Currently, registration is only open for the Long Beach, CA (News - Alert) and Chicago events. A copy of Bersin & Associates’ research bulletin ‘The Impact Measurement Framework: An Update for the Measurement of Informal Learning’ will be made available to workshop attendees.
