SolutionsPT Announces Availability of ArchestrA Workflow Software

ArchestrA ‘industrializes’ Microsoft (News - Alert) .NET and other Microsoft technologies in order to provide an even more productive toolset for building critical operations management software solutions for manufacturing, production and facilities operations.  

In a press release, officials with the company exclaimed that workflow automation for manufacturing and industrial applications has been growing in importance for plant operators and engineers. This is primarily due to their increased responsibility for compliance, quality and tracking, as well as knowledge capture. Wonderware's approach of embedding workflow software within its ArchestrA technology enables customers to implement standard operating procedures and corrective actions, basically structuring repeatable, managed responses to process exceptions across the enterprise.

With the ArchestrA software users can digitize SOPs, GMPs and work instructions, coordinate human-centric and system-centric tasks effectively, gain real-time visibility to active work processes, measure and improve the performance of work processes and enforce company policies and regulatory compliance.

The ArchestrA technology enables applications to assembled using software objects rather being programmed. The Workflow software’s integration capabilities include multi-channel task delivery and response through web, Smartphone, email, IM, and voice, native integration with Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Office, and connectors for Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft BizTalk, and SAP (News - Alert) ERP.
