Sage North America Expands its Endorsed Development Partner Program

According to a recent press release, Sage North America has included Sage SalesLogix, its customizable CRM system for small and midsized businesses, to its Endorsed Development Partner Program.

The Endorsed Development Partner Program is designed to help ISVs (Independent Software Vendors) successfully develop, test and market applications that enhance and extend the functionality of Sage business solutions. Under the program, the Sage provides extensive development resources, technical services, and strategic product and marketing benefits that help maximize Development Partner revenue opportunities. The Sage introduced its Endorsed Development Partner Program in 2009 for Sage ERP products and for Sage Employer Solutions in 2010. The program has achieved double-digit compound year-over-year revenue growth for Sage and participating partners since its inception. Endorsed Development Partners, the highest achievable designation in the program, receive the greatest benefits by meeting rigorous strategic, technology and integration criteria.

 “Endorsed partner solutions produce multiple benefits,” explained Dan Wilzoch, senior vice president and general manager, Sage CRM Solutions, in a statement. “Customers get more functionality choices with the ease of purchasing solutions directly from Sage and the assurance we qualified them. Our development partners get their products exposed to 3.2 million Sage CRM Solutions customers, and business partners who implement Sage SalesLogix can likewise develop additional revenue streams by answering customers’ business process challenges with these purpose-built solutions.”

Endorsed Partner Solutions are reviewed, qualified and supported directly by Sage and deliver a complete customer experience including purchase, training, support and maintenance. Endorsed Partner Solutions are available from Sage and authorized Sage business partners.

In related news, Sage North America has announced a new Sage Simply Accounting User Certification program developed for accounting and bookkeeping students or those already in or looking to move into the accounting industry to demonstrate to potential employers that they have a good working knowledge of Canada's number-one accounting software.
